Over the course of two weeks, ten undergraduate students from Técnico and other higher education institutions joined research teams within the Department of Nuclear Engineering and Sciences (DECN), gaining first-hand insight into the work carried out at the Loures Campus.

Applications are open until 3rd July. Starting next September (school year 2026-2027).

The training course, held at Técnico - Loures Campus, trained firefighters and specialised technicians to respond to incidents involving radioactive materials.

Last week, researchers from the Department of Engineering and Nuclear Sciences of Instituto Superior Técnico organised the course "Innovative Radionuclides and Radiopharmaceuticals", within the scope of the ENEN2plus project, funded by the EURATOM Research and Training Programme.

The meeting held last Tuesday, November 16, brought together members of the Técnico community to debate the work done so far and the strategies to adopt.
