Training Activities

DECN is responsible for the participation/coordination of several masters and doctorates in related areas. It also offers continuing training/training courses and vocational qualification training courses.

Regularly carries out training actions for professionals in the areas of radiological protection, industrial use of radioactive equipment or sources and management of radioactive waste and also training and qualification of teachers.

Extension and Dissemination Activities

DECN members, within the framework of the CTN, are engaged in activities to disseminate to the younger public and the general population.

Visits to Secondary Schools

The CTN, where the DECN is located, receives the visit of Secondary Schools. Visits include a presentation on the CTN for secondary school students, and visits to the Research Laboratories where DECN members carry out their activity. The visit to these laboratories depends on the timing of the research laboratories.

Open Doors Day

Once a year the CTN opens its doors to the general public by organizing visits to its facilities.
