Location

The Department of Nuclear Engineering and Sciences is located on the Technological and Nuclear Campus of IST, in the municipality of Loures, and is one of the most important technological centers in the country, especially in the fields related to nuclear sciences and techniques, as well as radiological protection and nuclear safety.

Transportation

CP	There are connections to the campus from the railway lines: CP - Azambuja Line (departure at Bobadela) CP - Cascais and Sintra Line, correspondence with the Azambuja line Fertagus - Southern Line, correspondence at Roma-Areeiro station with the Azambuja line
Metro	Estação Oriente: Red Line, correspondence with the train.

Taxi	Taxis allow you to get to DECN from anywhere in the city, but costs also increase according to distance, traffic and time. A journey from the centre of Lisbon to the DECN takes about 20 minutes. Own Vehicle: Who comes from the center of Lisbon or 2^nd Circular, must take the IC2 and leave on the detour to Sacavém / Bobadela, following the Estrada Nacional 10 to Km 139,7.
