On November 11, 2024, at the Technological and Nuclear Campus, the DEQ DAY was held.

A day of conviviality, with visits to the laboratories, group activities and exchange of impressions.

This event also featured a session, via zoom, on "Engineering Teaching in the Diaspora" with guests who have passed through DEQ/IST and who are currently teaching abroad:

• João Cabral Imperial College, London;
• Ana Cameirão, École Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Saint-Etienne, France;
• Luís Padrela, University of Limerick, Ireland;
• Catarina Braz, École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland;
• Vítor Magueijo University of Strathclyde, Glasgow.

The organization of this event was done in collaboration with CTN, which kindly received DEQ, namely Marta Almeida, Francisca Santos and several other researchers.
