Book “Mulheres na Ciência” (“Women in Science”) honours Técnico scientists
The new edition of the book “Mulheres na Ciência” (“Women in Science”) includes 101 portraits of inspiring women of different generations, of which 12 have a link to Técnico. The inspiring set of portraits includes chemists, physicists, biologists, mechanical engineers, computer engineers and seismologists.
The book also includes Filipa Mendes, researcher at the Department of Nuclear Sciences and Engineering (DECN)
The book launch ceremony took place this Monday, March 8, with the participation of the Técnico alumna Ana Ferreira.
