C2TN researcher wins the 2022 Armed Forces Innovation Award

This year's edition was dedicated to “Autonomous Systems”.

Major Luís Marques, member of C2TN and PhD student at IST, received the 2022 Armed Forces Innovation Award, for his work “Gamma radiation detection system, beta particles and neutrons coupled to a multirotor for inspection of maritime containers and detection, location and identification of radioactive sources and materials”, supervised by Dr. Pedro Vaz (C2TN and DECN) and professor Alberto Vale (IPFN and DEEC).
