Research on Air Quality is present at the PhD Open Days

Carolina Vicente, PhD student in Environmental Engineering at the Centre for Nuclear Sciences and Technologies, is present at the 10th Edition of the PhD Open Days at Instituto Superior Técnico, with the poster "Oxidative Potential: A New Perspective on the Health Effects of Air Pollution".
As part of her PhD, Carolina researches the oxidative potential of atmospheric particles, with the aim of contributing to the development of strategies that reduce the population's exposure to air pollutants, thus minimizing the negative impacts of particulate matter on public health.
We wish Carolina much success and that her work contributes to the improvement of Air Quality and Health for all of us!
