The Department of Nuclear Engineering and Sciences (DECN) at Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa, is organising an immersive scientific research experience from 6 to 17 July, aimed at undergraduate students from Técnico and other higher education institutions.

Over the course of two weeks, participants will have the opportunity to engage closely with the research carried out at DECN, taking part in real scientific projects and collaborating directly with researchers in a multidisciplinary, dynamic and stimulating academic environment at the Loures Campus.

This initiative aims to provide students with an initial research experience, enabling them to apply knowledge acquired throughout their academic studies, develop new skills, and gain insight into the work of research teams in a real-world setting.

Applications are open until 22 June (available just in Portuguese).
