It was with distinction and praise that, last Friday, Daniela Filipa Rodrigues Pereira finished the defense of her PhD thesis in Engineering Physics at Instituto Superior Técnico.

Under the guidance of researcher Katharina Lorenz, her work focused on "Functionalization of MoO₃ by Defect Engineering".

His excellent work has not only contributed to the advancement of scientific knowledge, but also promises to boost the development of new materials for emerging technologies.
